Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a session?
Sessions are usually 50 minutes but some practitioners offer shorter sessions for 30 minutes.

Are animals allowed on the premise?
Seeing eye dogs are welcome, other animals can be brought by prior arrangement.

Is there wheelchair access?
Yes, wheelchair access is available. Please inform reception prior to attendance.

Can I access therapy under TAC/Workcover?
Yes, some practitioners are registered with TAC and Workcover.

Getting to AFTC via public transport

The Centre is located close to Malvern train station. Trams number 64 and 16 also stop on the corner of Dandenong and Hawthorn Roads, a few metres from the Centre.

Parking

There is both unlimited and limited street parking on Alma Road, Hawthorn Road and in nearby side streets. Dandeong Road citybound has unlimited street parking after 9.30am.
